About Vela

Vela began with a simple idea: getting dressed should feel like a calm harbour, not a decision. We make a small, considered wardrobe of everyday pieces in natural fibres — the linen shirt you reach for all summer, the denim jacket that only gets better with age, the swimsuit that just works.

Everything is drawn from the coast we love: sand, sea-glass, whitewashed walls, the navy of deep water. We keep the palette quiet and the cuts relaxed, so the pieces layer easily and last for years rather than seasons.

We would rather make fewer, better things — produced in small runs, in fabrics chosen to soften and age well. No noise, no logos, nothing you have to think about. Just clothes made to be lived in.
